What we do now will open the window of opportunities, helping us in adapting and transforming for a better future.

I know all of us are looking forward to a fresh start. All of us are making New Year resolutions.

For me, the new year is about setting intentions/systems more than it’s about setting a list of rules I’ll break in two weeks. (Last year my intention was “bring stability to life,” which… LOL.)

We Indians are divided over many many things today than we ever were, but we can all agree that 2020 was tragic, terrifying and generally no good. Yet amid the sadness and strife, our social lives evolved rapidly, and the coronavirus pandemic ushered in changes that could leave a lasting mark on the economy and lives.

Covid altered our lives suddenly, we went through multiples phases, first there was panic, we didn’t knew what the future has in store, then we all adapted, adapted to the situation as we tried to make sense of it, then came the New Normal. I think we are one of the luckiest generation so far, as we are being forced to make changes in our lives.

Covid’s been a huge loss, so many lives have gone, people have lost their jobs, their livelihood etc., but overall it has expanded their lives. Businesses went down to zero for a majority of us, we cannot be blind to the immeasurable loss that so many of us felt in 2020, we were forced to change ourselves and our businesses, but it ultimately improved our businesses and this will help us build a company that has longevity, as we are focussed on executing on the highest level.

A crisis like this has catapulted us towards making a collective change, a change that seemed crazy pre-covid era. Its not that these solutions were not available earlier, they were always there but were not forceful and people were not adaptive to these changes.

Knowing all of us can go back to the way it was before, we can be normal again, but because of all this change, we have more control over our future. We have adapted, we are transforming ourselves, and transformation is always good, good for humanity and human spirit.

That is why i say “ I am not going back” ….

What we are doing now is opening a window of opportunities.

Let’s adapt, transform and prosper…

Pandemically Yours,

NG

and have an awesome 2021…
